Description
To cover all aspects of aircraft de-icing on the ground, a unique program has been developed to produce the appropriate result.
"Winter Operating System" covers all the parts that must be in place to operate safely and economically, and to meet regulatory requirements.
A manual of more than 8,500 pages (self-developed) with procedures for about 200 types of aircraft, operational data from more than 500 airports, and a gigantic collection of photos, images, drawings and videos as supporting materials allows us to meet all customer requirements.

Leadership
The central element is the documentation, which consists of 4 manuals:
- "Anti-icing / Anti-Frost Protection Device Operator's Manual": the 7 chapters contain all information for day-to-day operation. It contains all the information needed by flight crews and ground crews.
- "Anti-Frost Protection / Anti-Frost Protection Quality Manual": consists of 7 chapters and contains all data for fluid testing, auditing, archiving, performance monitoring, and so on.
- "Anti-icing/de-icing protection training manual": in 7 chapters you will find basic/refresher courses for all personnel groups (from L10 to L90), tests, permit system, METAR training and so on.
- "Anti-icing Station Manual": this part, consisting of 10 chapters and 4 appendices, is for companies that provide treatment to their own company or to third parties. It is a supplement to other documents and allows the customer to pass audits (e.g. IATA DAQCP, etc.) And regulations.
Station database
Do you want to change agents? Are you starting at a new airport? Has your aircraft moved to another destination?
Now you need quick and reliable information to deal with this situation, AeroTech Consulting GmbH has developed the unique "De-icing and Anti-icing Station Database". It provides you with all the data you need about more than 500 airports in a matter of seconds.
Continuous monitoring and regular updates (through new audits) help make this tool as accurate as possible.
Training
With adult trainee qualifications and accepted by all major carriers, we conduct courses for all personnel groups (basic, refresher and differentiated).
We offer a unique CBT program (on DVD) for self-study that does not require a computer setup (safety aspect), especially for flight crews.
This program contains, in the main course, the content required by the regulatory authorities, but additionally gives, at the student's request, the possibility to supplement the information with videos, photos, text, etc.

Audit
Qualified by IATA DAQCP with experience of more than 700 audits, we provide this service to our customers.
It helps to select a new service provider, to ensure safe operations at a new airport or to optimize flight planning by rerouting at another airport.
The audits are conducted either according to our own developed program (the most comprehensive in the world), according to IATA DAQCP, or according to the recommendations of the AEA De-icing / De-icing Working Group.
Services / Fluid Testing
We are equipped with all the necessary test instruments and laboratory equipment to test all brands of aviation de-icing/anti-icing fluids in the world: Brookfield viscosity meters with thermostats (-30° C to +75° C), pH meter, refractometer, surface tension tubes, Karl Fischer titrator, several grinding, mixing and heating/cooling units, as well as centrifuges (up to 4 * 750 ml and up to 25,000 rpm)In addition, together with our partner EFM, we operate a unique liquid atomization test bench, which allows the simulation of any processing machine to test the stability of a new product or to troubleshoot in the event of operational problems. The test range is up to 15 bar, 600 l/min and a fluid temperature of 60°C. In our Hungarian facility we can perform natural precipitation tests as well as several indoor tests (e.g. Bühler test, material tests, etc.)
Customer Service
An idea is only as good as the client can understand and use it. Satisfaction is the key word, which is why we include it in our package:
- A 24/7/365 hotline for any technical questions, operational issues, or emergencies.
- Attending international conferences and meetings with a written report for customers about new developments or industry issues is standard. We attend SAE, ISO, ICAO and many others.
- Support on special missions, e.g. as an on-board engineer to help in exceptional cases.
